Speed Up Your Internet Connection

I have networking issues. I use a D-Link router connected to a NetGear switch? The network lags bad. Help me.?

I'm currently working for a company that is experiencing a lag in their network. I've been doing so research on their equipment and they use a D-Link Router that's connected to a NetGear switch. The equipment is fine. I'm wondering if this could be an ISP issue. I'm about to call the ISP to explain the situation.

2. If your internet is lagging, here is a site to test your speed connection for free: http://performance.toast.net/ The test will rate your internet bandwidth speed. Hope that helps. Did this situation start recently or has it always been like this?
3. NMAP is a good program to figure out what's going on with the network. You might also be over-monitoring your network. Try cutting out the junk you don't use.
