How do I stop or slow down game room lag?

On my main pc I seem to have a lot of lag in game rooms. But on my other pc which is on the same network & modum works fine. The main pc has more memory & a larger processor. Also I reloaded to factory standard trying to aliviate the problem to no avail.

1. Make sure you have the latest version of flash installed.
2. check your running proccess. if you installed from factory standard you likely got a bunch of bloatware installed (the junk that comes with new computers like Nortons, live help programs, AOL, system monitors, etc.) you likely have a porgram using resources in the background. you can whath the proccesses using task manager (right click the bar on the bottom of your desktop and choose task manager, then click the proccesses tab, sort by CPU) or there are some nice tools at www.systernals.com under the "proccess utilities" section, i like pstools to view and autoruns will alllow you to prevent proccesses from starting up.
3. You probably have a bunch of useless stuff from the factory standard reload. Try to get rid of it and minimize junk, otherwise I don't know.
