I cannot connect to the net sinds I connected a router to the adsl modem?

I connect to the internet trough a adsl modem . I added a router so I can connect to pcs on a home network. Sinds I conected the router I can not surf the net. The home network works fine but can not connect to the net. Is there settings that has to be changed at the router or the modem?

1. You have to configure the PPPoE setting in your router to login in to your DSL account. I can't give you specific instructions because the configuration varies by brand.
