Speed Up Your Internet Connection

I need to move a computer conected via a speed touch ADSL filter to another part of the room.?

I have tried an extension unit, sockets are correct, tried putting computer line and phone line directly into unit, and via spare speed touch ADSL filter..but conputer still reads no telephone line. do I have to dustbin my computer and go wireless and mobiles only in the house?

1. if its a plug in extension youve got the most usual thing i come across is people plugging the extension into the filter and then another filter in the computer end of the extension not realising its already been filtered. If still not working a telco company could sort for you for less than wireless setup, I do a fair few. Hope ive helped, Owen
