can my PC work with a Wireless Broadband Router?

i have People PC dialup at the moment, but i cant afford AT&T dsl, and no other carriers for DSL arent in my area. I am wondering if a Wireless Broadband Router would work without a subscription to anything? so in other words, as long as i have a ISP, such as Sage internet or People PC, i can det connected fast? even if its dialup?

3. Does People PC offer broadband? not that I know of... For wifi to work, a broadband router needs a broadband dsl or cable modem with a live internet connection.
