How to connect bsnl broadband internet connection to laptop?

I have BSNL Broadband connection connected to desktop and I want to connect it to laptop. How tell me?

1. Question is.. How do you want to connect it to (e.g. physical cable or wireless/WiFi). In easy way.. you need to configure your laptop to connect with bsnl. The easy way, you can check your desktop's IP addresses & key-in the same (i.e. 192.168.0.2) to your laptop with all other settings like subnet thats usually 255.255.255.0 default gateway (usually- 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1) & DNS as well. But if you use a dial-up on your desktop, you need to create a connection on your laptop too. For help on how to create dialup connection refer to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310410 :)
2. if u want to connect through wifi..just search for wireless networks available and connect...
3. simply plug-in the modem with your laptop:-)
