  1. i don't know. but definitely not smart bro. the connection and customer support suck!
  2. check out pldtplay they actually have support for gaming. but most likely you'll have to check where you'll be living here. connection quality differs from area to area. smart bro is actually very good in makati. if you're in makati, you're in luck coz you have a free range of service providers, makati usually get's the best service from most providers. if money is no issue get their higher service plans they're usually more reliable and gives you allowance during peak hours.
  3. i use smartbro. the service is good at my end. i still even pay the promo price of P788 that was offered during the wi-fi days.
  4. You will need to subscribe to a wired broadband connection. PLDT has myDSL, Globe has Globe Boradband, Eastern Telecoms has evoDSL and Bayan Telecommunications has Bayan DSL. There's also Greendot, SkyCable and myDestiny. Fixed wireless like Smart Bro or Globe's Speak n Surf are not recommended for gaming because they have longer latency. Meaning, the response rate to the gaming server is slower because of the delays caused by wireless transmissions to the cellsites. PLDT and Globe has affordable rates starting from 512Kbsp to 1.2Mbps which costs between Php995 to Php1,995.
  5. Why not try your local telephone company. Most telephone companies already ventured in providing internet connections. I agree with the other responder that what you need is a wired connection. Not wireless like smartbro (its slow only up to 384 kbps, but sometimes it doesnt reach that speed). Do a research on your area like which company offers broadband services, ask them what internet cafe's they are servicing and try their connection, especially the guaranteed SPEED, upload & download speed.
